Synopsis

Buck is a strong and kind St. Bernard–Scotch Shepherd mix who lives a nice life on a California estate. But during the Klondike Gold Rush, he is stolen and sold into the harsh world of Alaskan sled dogs. Buck must learn new talents and adapt rapidly if he wants to survive in the cold and with strong competition. With the help of experienced sled dog drivers and strong friends, he learns about the brutal reality of “the law of club and fang” and his own inner strength. As Buck gets better at handling the path, he starts to feel a strange pull toward the wild. This wakes up instincts that have been buried deep in his ancestral memory. This change sends him on a journey from being tamed to something more basic, putting his allegiance and strength to the test at every turn.
